Worm Rush: Hungry Snake is an offline-first single-player arcade game with local AI opponents. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data:

- No microphone, camera, contacts, or photo library access
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide seamless arcade game progression and leaderboard stats, the app stores strictly non-identifying game state locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences:
- High score and maximum worm length achieved
- Best survival time records (in seconds)
- Total rivals defeated and total matches played
- Unlocked and equipped worm skin & hat preferences
- Audio and UI preferences (sound effects on/off, tactile haptics on/off, difficulty setting)
- Custom player nickname (stored only locally on device)
All of this data remains solely on your physical device. If you uninstall the app or clear its application data in your device settings, this locally stored game progress will be permanently removed.
3. Device Permissions Used
Worm Rush requests only standard, non-sensitive Android permissions necessary for game feedback:
- VIBRATE: Used solely to provide subtle tactile haptic feedback when eating food, boosting, colliding, or defeating rival AI worms. This can be toggled on or off at any time in the in-game settings.
- INTERNET: Used solely for standard Android network capability checks and contextual ad loading via Google AdMob. No personal data is transmitted.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check network connectivity before attempting to load ads.
4. Advertising and Analytics
Worm Rush displays family-friendly, child-safe in-game advertisements served by Google AdMob (such as optional banner ads or periodic breaks between rounds). In accordance with Google Play’s Families Policy and COPPA regulations:
- All ad requests are flagged with child-directed treatment (
TagForChildDirectedTreatment.yes) and under age of consent (TagForUnderAgeOfConsent.yes). - No personalized profiling or behavioral advertising tracking is performed.
- Core arcade survival gameplay remains 100% playable offline without requiring an active network connection.
5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & Families Policy)
Worm Rush: Hungry Snake is a colorful, kid-friendly arcade game suitable for players of all ages. We comply fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play’s Families Policy:
