2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide smooth gameplay progression, vehicle upgrades, and record tracking, the app stores strictly non-identifying game state locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences and iOS standard storage:
- Stage unlocked status and distance records achieved per stage (Countryside, Desert Dunes, Rocky Peaks, Frozen Alps, Moon Base)
- Total accumulated game coins and milestone rewards earned
- Vehicle ownership (Hill Jeep, Dune Buggy, Farm Tractor, Monster Truck, Rally Racer, Lunar Rover)
- Vehicle tuning upgrade levels (Engine, Suspension, Tires, 4WD)
- Audio and UI preferences (sound effects on/off, tactile haptics on/off)
All of this data remains solely on your physical device. If you uninstall the app or clear its application data in your device settings, this locally stored game progress will be reset.
3. Device Permissions Used
Mountain Drive: Hill Rush requests only standard, non-sensitive permissions necessary for gameplay feedback:
- VIBRATE: Used solely to provide realistic tactile haptic feedback when pressing gas/brake pedals, landing heavy jumps, and collecting milestones. This can be toggled on or off at any time in the in-game settings.
- INTERNET: Used solely for standard network capability checks and contextual ad loading via Google AdMob. No personal data is transmitted.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check network connectivity before attempting to load ads.
4. Advertising and Analytics
Mountain Drive displays family-friendly, child-safe in-game advertisements served by Google AdMob (such as optional rewarded video ads to continue a run or earn bonus coins in the garage, and periodic interstitial breaks between runs). In accordance with Google Play’s Families Policy and COPPA regulations:
- All ad requests are flagged with child-directed treatment (

- Core racing gameplay remains 100% playable offline without requiring an active network connection.

Mountain Drive: Hill Rush is a wholesome physics racing arcade game suitable for kids, teens, and players of all ages. We comply fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play’s Families Policy:
